Net4India launches 'Unlimited Calling' to US, UK

NEW DELHI: Net4India, the IP communications provider, on Tuesday launched 'Unlimited Calling' facility to US through its Internet telephony services – Phonewala International Services.
Under the 'Unlimited Calling', which is a prepaid service, the customer is given a local telephone number in the US, Canada, UK and France free of charge. The customer can ask his local contacts (like relatives staying in these countries) to call at the local number in US, a company release said here.
It is ideal for SMEs, students and individuals whose relatives are living abroad. Having a local presence in US, UK France and Canada will give customers the freedom to talk to their buyers, relatives at any time without worrying about the bills or recharging their accounts, Jasjit Sawhney, CEO, Net4India said.
As part of the package, the customer can select the number from 11 locations.
"Our aim is to bring the benefits of Internet telephony to a larger audience and Unlimited Calling is a step in that direction," he said.
He said Net4India will target the service for southeast Asian countries including China as the market offers a huge opportunity.
