Net 4 India triples net profit

IP communications provider reports 391 percent increase in net on year
Net 4 India Ltd., an IP communications provider, announced their Q1 results for 2005 today.
The New Delhi-based company has reported quarterly revenue of Rs.1502.34 lakh, for the quarter ending June 30. The quarterly net profit stood at Rs 148.32 lakh, up 391 percent compared with the year-ago period.
"We have stared on a good note", said Jasjit Sawhney, CEO, Net 4 India. "With a 50.19 percent increase in net profit quarter on quarter, we have started ramping up our operations. We continue to grow our business and generate cash profits from operations. A large proportion of our revenues continue to come from Internet telephony and web hosting services. Both these areas have also managed to grow in line with the access business. Overall, this quarter has proven to be a good start." |
