Job Title: Senior System Engineer (Windows)

Job Description

1. Installation, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, upgrade, maintenance, administration, securing and supporting Operating Systems, Event Repositories, Antivirus Mirrors, Directory Servers, DNS infrastructure, ERP, Proxy / Cache Servers, Content Service Switches, Name Servers, Database Servers, Application Servers, Mail Servers, Web Servers, FTP servers, Log, Archive, Backup Servers, SAN, DAS on Microsoft Windows platform along with the related Infrastructure, adopting and meeting Industry best practices.
2. Server side Scripting, debugging, troubleshooting and fixing
3. Patching, security updates, revisions, tuning, migration, backup, restore, disaster recovery
4. Providing seamless line of sight into all aligned activities and routines with a host of reports and updates.
5. Experience in Storage Area Networks would be an advantage
6. Experience in using Network monitoring tools would be a plus
7. Evaluation, testing and qualification of alternative / new solutions

1. General upkeep and maintenance of Infrastructure
2. Reports and escalations
3. License compliance
4. Sizing and estimation
5. Strong troubleshooting and problem solving capability

Candidate Profile
At least a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent. MCSE, MCSA or other similar certification preferred.

MCSE, RHCE, MCSA, MCDBA or other similar certification preferred
Experience working 24x7 on mission critical Internet Infrastructure is preferred
Project management experience would be an advantage

Experience
Minimum 4 Years.
