What is webmail ?

Net4india webmail is a browser based interface for your emails. Instead of downloading into the local desktop by Outlook express or Netscape messenger or Edura etc. you can view your emails from the server directly. By this you can access your mail from your office as well as from you home.

How much storage space do i get ?

You will get 20 MB of Inbox space and 30 MB for other folders to stores your mails.

What will happen if I exceed the limit of my storage space?

You will get a warning message when you exceed the limit of your storage space. You may miss some of your important emails if you don't free space from your inbox.

Can I send/receive Attachments ?

Yes you can. You can send a maximum of three attachments at a time and can also receive any no of attachments. The maximum size of a particular attachment file is limited to 2MB.

I am getting a message 'Your session has been expired'. Why ?

Your Session may expire due to one of the following:

You don't have cookies support in your browser or support for cookies has not been enabled
You are accessing some links from History after logging out from the system
You have exceeded the session time out. ( 30 min from login )
You are running two simultaneous logins with the same username and password
You are trying to access the URL for inner mail pages directly from the location bar of your browser

I am getting a message 'Your inbox is empty' ? Where are all my emails ?

The reason for this is either you don't have any mails in you pop server or you may have download you mails using Outlook Exp. or Netscape or Eduara Lite. onto your local desktop machine. You change you password to protect the download and put the 'keep mails on the server' option while configuring your Outlook or Netscape messenger.
