Some examples of the way we let down
our hair……
We have a in-house sports/cricket club called NetForce, and
once a month we all get together to play cricket, badminton,
volley ball etc. Recently we have enrolled for the CRY- CADENCE
Corporate Challenge where we will be playing competitive inter-company
matches for contributions to CRY.
Recently, the Delhi branch and Corporate went for a fun and
frolic trip to Chowkidhani, near Jaipur for two days. This
is an ethnic village resort with a blend of rustic environment
and modern amenities making it an important destination in
Pink city. This trip consisted of enjoying the Rajasthani
village culture and having a short tour of Jaipur, the pink
city. People also enjoyed spending time and having fun at
the Pink pearl – The amusement park (Water Park) which
has many water rides.
On the whole the picnic was quite refreshing and full of fun.
Internal Quiz competition, where we circulated the quiz questions
which were based on our appearance in the electronic media
with a really exciting award.
Bangalore and Chennai branches actively participate in cricket
competitions with other companies.
Weekend trip to Mussorie - Members of Net4india corporate
office had been to Mussorie for a weekend fun-trip.
Weekend trip to Lonavla - Our Mumbai team had arranged
for a weekend picnic at Kihim beach Resort. This resort is
around 2 acres in all, situated on the beach spotted with
palms, studded with tents and is usually chosen by Corporate
for team functions such as ours, some of these would include,
TCS, HLL and British Airways. The resort has a total capacity
of about 200 people.
The resort, which embraces the Natural environment of the
rural and coastal areas of Maharashtra, depicts nothing but
nature at its best. There are no constructed restaurants or
cottages, no trace of modern building structures, no signs
of the mundane picnic spots which is usually what one goes
for. Everything there is as far away from the usual day to
day experiences of city life as much as possible. Tall palm
trees all around, the vast expanse of the ocean in front,
the cool sea breeze through out, coupled with the perfect
company, serves as the perfect getaway for all.
The events during the picnic included everything from playing
volley ball, Antakshri, Dumb Charades to swimming, dancing
on the beach, eating and drinking.
On the whole, the trip was a major success, which was necessary
for the team. Already the results have started showing with
everyone relating, understanding each other better and working
as a team. The feedback from the participants has been tremendous,
with many suggesting one of these trips, ONCE a MONTH!
A day at Golden Huts - Our Delhi team went to a day’s
picnic at Golden Huts resort located on the Jaipur highway.
The agenda of the day was designed in order to make sure that
the people have fun as well as learn something at the end
of the day. Besides fun activities like playing handball,
even cricket and football we had team building games like
tug of war, Dumb Charades etc. Also management game based
on empowerment was organized in which people from the senior
management like CEO, CFO, and COO etc. also participated.
People enjoyed from the moment they sat in the bus till the
time they got down at their residences.
Besides this we keep on organizing small get-togethers at
various festivals like Holi, Baisakhi, Diwali like the rangoli
competition we organized this Diwali.
