Job Title: Senior Engineer / Engineer System Administration

Job Description

• Is key in the implementation of Business continuity
• Independently analyses customer needs from time to time and designs system solutions
• Handles activities along with a team of system administrators / engineers
• Maintains advanced knowledge of the OS's, Databases and applications along with the applicable services
• Implementation, maintenance, patching, upgrading, tuning, migration, backup, disaster recovery
• Performs assigned evaluations of hardware, software, applications and special purpose tools
• System troubleshooting and problem solving
• Providing seamless line of sight into all aligned activities and routines with a host of reports and updates
• Automation of routines
• Evaluate and deploy tool-sets
• Server side Scripting, debugging, troubleshooting and fixing

Candidate Profile
At least a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, administration, securing and supporting Operating Systems, Name Servers, Database Servers, Application Servers, Mail Servers, Web Servers, Log Servers and CRM on Microsoft Windows platform along with the related Infrastructure, adopting and meeting Industry best practices.

• MCSE, RHCE, MCSA, MCDBA or other similar certification preferred
• Experience working 24x7 on mission critical Internet Infrastructure is preferred
• Project management experience would be an advantage
