OVERVIEW
TRAK ONLINE in association with Net4India
provides dedicated Internet bandwidth to corporate enterprises
and ITES (Voice) providers. A point-to-point connectivity
is established using leased copper circuit or fixed broadband
wireless between our fault-tolerant, clear channel network
and your LAN. This provides excellent quality, high capacity,
resilient Internet connectivity through our national network.
The service is covered by our industry leading service level
guarantee (SLA). We maintain redundancy in hardware as well
as high capacity links with most of the major backbones to
ensure fast access times to key International networks.
Leased line bandwidth is available from 64Kbps
onwards between your LAN and our regional POP. It is available
in tiered increments but is limited to 2 Mbps
in case of copper circuits. For example, 512Kbps Internet
bandwidth can be delivered using a 2Mbps Leased Line circuit.
This allows Internet bandwidth to be increased in increments
up to 2Mbps without incurring further circuit installation.
In case of fixed broadband wireless, a single link can support
up to 11 Mbps.
The dedicated Internet bandwidth through
a Leased Line is symmetrical. The speed of uploading as well
as downloading of data remains the same. We also offer the
option of burstable bandwidth. This is very economical for
organizations that need high bandwidth only occasionally.
For example, a 512 kbps (1:4) bandwidth will have a floor
level of 128 kbps that may burst up to 512 kbps on demand.
With the availability of managed copper circuits
from basic telecom operators in several cities, Leased Line
Internet has become more affordable, as these circuits do
not require purchase of modems by the subscriber.
Leased Line access is meant for organizations
wherein Internet availability is a critical input to the business
process. It should not be benchmarked or evaluated against
other broadband services viz. DSL or cable Internet.
