Dedicated (Premium)
When you subscribe to our Dedicated Bandwidth service level we commit (CIR) 95% of the port speed. For example, if you subscribe for a 1Mbps dedicated connection you will receive at least 95% of 1Mbps as throughput in order to ensure a consistent high speed Internet Bandwidth. Dedicated Premium Bandwidth is recommended for companies who have predictable Internet traffic like:
- Corporates with video conferencing need
- Call center outfits for supporting voice operations;
- ITES/BPO firms for uploading/ downloading job works
- Software engineering units for remote server access
- Companies with very high mail / web traffic and high data transfer
Shared (Regular)
Under Shared level service, you will receive burstable bandwidth with minimum commitment (CIR) of 25% (1:4) or 50% (1:2) of the port speed. Typically, under this arrangement we engage 4 or just 2 connections to a single port. Depending on the vacancy of the port, you may receive even up to 70% of the port speed on a 1:4 plan. The service is best suited for organizations that do not necessarily require high bandwidth 24x7. The Shared level service allows substantial saving on the bandwidth cost without compromising the efficacy and reliability of a leased line.
