I Know the Password

One day a man was connecting to the Internet from his home computer
through dial up, his ten-year-old daughter sneaked up behind him. Then
she turned and ran into the kitchen, squealing to the rest of the
family, 'I know Daddy's password! I know Daddy's password!' 'What is
it?' her sisters asked eagerly. Proudly she replied, 'Asterisk,
asterisk, asterisk, asterisk, asterisk!' (******)

A Great Writer

There was once a young man who, in his youth, professed his desire to
become a great writer. When asked to define great, he said, 'I want to
write stuff that the whole world will read, stuff that people will react
to on a truly emotional level, stuff that will make them scream, cry,
howl in pain and anger!' He now works for Microsoft writing error
messages.

How a Cream Cake Can Destabilize the World.…

Lets take this regular birthday pineapple cream cake, if I were to ever have this cake again, it would upset me, annoy me, and most likely make me extremely angry. In turn I may start to shout at others, and in turn these people may go home angry.

Now lets assume, that these people (normal happy individuals) go home with this anger in their hearts, this will inevitably, manifest itself in an argument with their loved ones, parents or even their dog. They may even answer their phone, with contempt, or go to a shop and argue while buying bread. Phone calls to friends that evening will be a no no, since an argument may ensue, and this was all because someone at work shouted at them.

Lets take this a little further, that shopkeeper to whom they were rude to, now is angry, he vents it out on his wife/children whom then pass it onto their peers, eventually this spreads, the pets who sense this anger, start barking (dogs only), which annoys the neighbors, who then take this anger to bed with them. Of course we all know what this means...a reduction in the human population :-)

So now we have gone from one annoyed person to several thousands, this process continues for days...since people love to hold a grudge, couples split up, shopkeepers close shops, dogs run riot, all still propagating this anger. Tourists start to hate the locals, this is passed on over the phone to their loved ones at home, spreading the anger abroad, all continents get hit, the initial reason is forgotten, it is now country against country, religion against religion, Desi against the women :-), people take to the streets, to fight...but no one knows what for, armies are formed, United Nations gets called in, instability reaches fever pitch, riots breakout, small wars turn into larger ones, countries begin to side with each other, full scale attacks are launched, innocent people are killed, elders are killed, no new children being born, the very fabric of society breaks apart, the foundation of families no longer exists, its every man for himself....is this what you want... if not, STOP the pineapple cream cake from getting to the CTO, and instead get him a chocolate fudge cake.

Tip Of The Month

It takes only 10 seconds to lose consciousness if you have a heart attack. To buy you more time you need to:
§ Cough deeply as that would squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating.
§ Alternate that with deep breaths, as that will increase the level of oxygen in your lungs.
This way a victim would be able to buy more time to get to a hospital.

I've witnessed things and seen dreams
For everything I guess there is a means
But some things are left to those who chance
Where the world is their floor upon which they dance

And then there are those who take it as it goes
Just a face in the crowd or shadows I suppose
Drowning in the shallowness of a lonely tear
As the fate of their lives draws silently near

Many people look but do not truly see
That life is a mystery to be what you can be
Lessons will come and will knock you to the ground
Remember..there is always a helping hand around
Never think you know what lies before
There's more to the ocean than just its shore
Open your eyes and take a good look
You are the one that must write your own book

Build Your Confidence

by Jason Gracia

Many people want to try new things, but hold back for different reasons.

LACK OF UNDERSTANDING
When we don't understand how something works, it is easier to shy away
from trying it. The solution is to learn how it works.

NAYSAYERS
People love to tell each other that things are harder than they think.
The solution is to ignore the naysayers and just do it! You'll never
know until you do it.

EMBARRASSMENT
One of the biggest obstacles to learning new things is the fear of doing
it wrong and worrying about what others think.

Don't worry about it! People do not pay too much of attention as they
feel the same way. Take the risk and inspire others.

Yeshwant Sinha's Anthem

Tax his land, tax his wage,
Tax the bed in which he lays.
Tax his tractor, tax his mule,
Teach him taxes is the rule.

Tax his cow, tax his goat,
Tax his pants, tax his coat.
Tax his ties, tax his shirts,
Tax his work, tax his dirt.

Tax his chew, tax his smoke,
Teach him taxes are no joke.
Tax his car, tax his ass,
Tax the roads he must pass.

Tax his tobacco, tax his drink,
Tax him if he tries to think.
Tax his booze, tax his beers,
If he cries, tax his tears.

Tax his bills, tax his gas,
Tax his notes, tax his cash.
Tax him good and let him know
That after taxes, he has no dough.

If he hollers, tax him more,
Tax him until he's good and sore.
Tax his coffin, tax his grave,
Tax the sod in which he lays.

Put these words upon his tomb,
"Taxes drove me to my doom!"
And when he's gone, we won't relax,
We'll still be after inheritance TAX.
