CASE STUDIES - A few of the companies with the Barter Advantage

Hindustan Times saved cash by bartering advertisement space for promotional products.

When HT decided to spread its circulation and readership across regions, they were in a fix. Their marketing plan entailed giving away various appliances, cell phones, leather planners etc. as a promotional drive But investing a whopping Rs. 25 lakhs was a risk, as advertisement benefits would happen only later with the subscription. That's when Net4Barter stepped in. It procured various appliances, leather planners etc, from its vast network of members, for HT in exchange of advertising space in their newspaper. With the help of a barter deal HT saved cash worth nearly Rs. 25 Lakhs and accomplished its objective to become a leading North Indian daily. And what's more H.T. also increased advertisement sales and attracted new clients through the Advt sold by Net4barter (in exchange for the value provided)

Timex watches bartered surplus stock for a sure-fire media plan.

When a new model of their wristwatches failed to appeal to the customers, Timex was stuck. There was 20 Lakhs worth of stock for which they were stuck with. So they turned to Net4Barter, which instantly picked up 15 Lakhs of stock and successfully sold it to the entire stock within its network. Timex traded their stock, selling it to Net4Barter members, and sources, without spending any cash. To top it all, they met all their requirements of a new media plan that skyrocketed their business….just in time!

For Archie's, it was unsold stock for an extensive media spread.

Archie's was facing a dilemma. While it was going great guns, its plans of expansion required huge media expenditure. Plus, there was the omnipresent problem of unsold stock. So Net4Barter provided it with an alternative. Archie's opted to utilize Net4Barter's media spread across the country, launching various campaigns at regular intervals. And Net4Barter took Archie's unsold stock and successfully sold to its network members, relieving it of unused capacities and increasing inventory costs. Reason to smile, isn't it?

...And the list is never ending. A wide range of companies from 5 star hotels, Resorts, Media companies, Office automation companies, Furniture, Electronic appliances, Industrial products, all trade regularly to save cash, utilize their excess stocks or simply expand their market share.
