Internet Subscriber Base Touches 35 Lakh In March 2003
New Delhi: India’s Internet subscriber base stood at 35 lakh in March 2003, up from 32.39 lakh in the year-ago period.
“As on March 2003, the number of Internet subscribers stood at 35 lakh as compared to only 2.3 lakh as on March 13, 1999, 9.43 lakh up to the end of March 2000, 29.09 lakh till March 2001 and 32.39 lakh till the end of March 2002,” an official release said here on Tuesday. (PTI)
