Abstract
The bandwidth available through ISDN is truly enabling, with
the result that businesses are adopting a wide range of high
content applications, such as multimedia, document retrieval
and medical/scientific imaging, to name a few. When viewed in
conjunction with the new, highly distributed business structures
and organizations built around the concept of networking, it
is clear that ISDN is part of the trends that are changing the
way we do business.
