OUTLOOK EXPRESS

Double click on the Outlook Express icon on your desktop.

Once the program has loaded click on the tools menu and choose accounts.

In the Internet Accounts windows, click on the Add... button followed by Mail to start the Internet Connection Wizard.

For Your Name type in the email account holder's full name, then click on next.

*Ensure all further details are now entered in lower case*

In Internet Mail Address type in the FULL email address (e.g. youraddress@__________). Click on next.

For Email Server Names ensure that incoming mail server setting is POP3.
In Incoming Mail Server name type '_____________'.
In Outgoing Mail Server name type '______________', then click on next.

The Internet Mail Logon should be entered as the first part of your email (e.g. for an address youraddress@____________ type 'youraddress') and then your email password. Click on next.

For friendly name type in the first part of your email address, this will help identify the account should you wish to check or change any settings, then click on next.

For Choose Connection Type ensure you select Connect using my phone line. Click on next.

For Dial up connection select Use an existing Dial-up connection, and choose One. Click on next.

Click on Finish.

To check or change your settings from the main program, choose Tools menu and Accounts, highlight your account and click Properties. Ensure the details for the General, Servers and Connection tab are as above. Samples are given below.
