Christ College was established in 1969 with the motto, Excellence and Service to provide quality education to the young generation. Christ College was born out of the educational vision of Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of CMI congregation. Blessed Chavara was a great educationalist and a social reformer of the 19th century. He could foresee the changes in the environment and make strategic moves to build up a better society based on fatherhood of God and brotherhood of humanity.
